I have to interview two elementary school children, males, for a project that I’m doing in a class on child psychology. The purpose of the project is to get them to converse so I can analyze how they communicate.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might ask the students? They will probably be around 9 y/o.
Thanks.
ask them if they saw the movie cars, that should take off from there if they both did.
find something they have in common and let them talk about it.
did you go fishing this summer?
do you like football…?
what’s your favorit movie?
things like that.
my son it almost 10 these are some things he and his friends talk about. lol well that and bugs

Ask them what interests they have. Wide subject with plenty to talk about

Study up on what boys their age are interested in and then bring those things up during the interview. Sports, video games are a plus, watch some shows on the cartoon network preferrably the ones that come on around the same time as they get out of school – the people who do the programming for this station gear the shows for that group around the let out times.

Typically they use their mouths unless they use signing, then again they could write it down or maybe even use those frig magnet thingies. There might only be a few more ways that a child communicates I’d go with Using their mouths 9 times out of ten. Hope this helps to get your homework done.
